… is a 2D zen-feeling puzzle game where the player needs to align all different colors on each axis to advance in level.

About the project

Hex started out as a reimagination of the classic game Sudoku. Our team, Mucha Kombucha, took out one of Sudoku’s essence and transformed it into an idea for new puzzle mechanics. Instead of filling numbers in each row and column, the player needs to align colors on each axis so that all colors are mutually exclusive in hue. The game features beautiful, challenging levels and a calm, zen-feeling audio design.

Contribution

I co-designed the game’s core mechanics and loop with my team and I took on the sound design, production, and music composition by myself.
